Outright Campaign for Christmas

Join us on our Outright Campaign for Christmas to make a difference to children’s rights.

As a GOLD Rights Respecting School, we are always looking for ways of making a meaningful and lasting difference.

After much research in classrooms and consultation with the School Council, we now ask you to join us in raising money to make a purchase from the UNICEF Inspired Gifts Scheme.   Instead of making a ‘Christmas Box’ this year, please send a cash donation into school. Monies will be used to purchase vital equipment for children to achieve their basic rights such as; to an education, to clean water, to play and to the best possible health.

In school all pupils have looked closely at the Inspired Gifts website and decided that we should try to raise enough to buy a water pump for a school or a community.  This means a target of £349.

Before the end of term please send any donation that you feel able to give, as with just over 300 pupils, it is possible we could absolutely smash this target!  In January when we return to school pupils will be involved in a voting process to determine which gifts to purchase in addition to the water pump.

Small actions together make a big difference.

The pupils and staff can’t wait to see the difference that we can make.

Thank you all for your continued support in learning about Children’s Rights and helping others both locally and globally.
